History records: some models are fitted with the Valjoux 7736 movement with model reference 809-36, 809 E,
around 1966 the hour-number 24 was added to dial.
In the end Valjoux 7740 where used with model reference: 7806/8.

Possibly due to the great succes of the Navitimer in general, Venus 178 movement shortages occurred. To meet the increasing demand Breitling starts using the Valjoux 7736 movement. Therefore a limited number of these Cosmonautes 809-36, 809 E are made.
It is around this period that the number 24 is added to the dial.
